Saving the Dornier – Onboard the GPS Apollo Recovery Platform May 2013
These photos were recently taken onboard the GPS Apollo Platform as work commenced for the ground-breaking operation to raise from the English Channel, the last surviving Dornier Do-17. The historic Second World War German Bomber was shot down 72 years ago during the Battle of Britain.
