Guinness World Record attempt at the Royal Air Force Museum London

On a snowy December 19th 2009 the Royal Air Force Museum endeavoured, with the help of the public and Airfix, to create a new world record for the most Airfix Spitfire models constructed in a day. With snow storms predicted, participants snowed in at home and the museum threatened with potential closure the question remained, ‘Would we succeed?’
