Please submit your Poem or Short Story by the 1 November so that we can include it in our display. Any submitted after this date will not be guaranteed entry to the display.

We will choose two poems to be read at our Remembrance Service in Cosford and London. These will be chosen by the RAF Museum and entrants will be contacted in advance. Both services will be available to watch on the 11 November.

Need a little bit of inspiration?

For inspiration why not have a look at our RAF Stories. This website contains hundreds of stories from RAF Personnel and their experience of serving around the world.

Or you can tune in to our mini poetry workshop. Tiegan will take you through the key things you need to be able to write a poem about remembrance.

Important information:
  • By submitting your creation, you are agreeing to allowing it to be published online, displayed at the Museum or read at our Service.
  • Please make sure that you do not include any personal information on the template or submission image, apart from Name and Age.
  • If the poem or short story contains inappropriate language or themes which the RAF Museum feels might cause offence, then we will not display or publish your creation.
