Virtual Spitfire 10K 2021

After the incredible feedback and support in 2020,  the Virtual Spitfire 10K returned in 2021. Almost 1,000 runners from all over the world took part in the event, alongside more than 2,500 runners at both RAF Museum sites.

The Virtual Spitfire 10K is a race for everyone as it allows runners to tailor the racing experience to fit their schedule and ability.  Some runners started the race on race day at 10.00am, others ran the entire distance at their own pace and on a date that suited them best. Some of our particiapnts split the distance into a few runs; or cycled, rowed or swam.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the Spitfire 10K virtually or at the RAF Museum. Thank you for helping us share the stories of bravery and ingenuity of those who fought during the Battle of Britain, and for posting your own stories and photos. You inspired us and your fellow participants! An extra thank you to those of you who registered and pledged to raise £80 for the RAF Museum. As a charity, your support really does make a difference.
