Object details

The ultimate artefact to adopt for any Ratfan! Roland Rat, a children’s TV phenomenon of the 1980s and 1990s, was adopted by No. 16 Squadron as their mascot and was fully kitted out in RAF uniform for the role. Roland’s last posting was to Coltishall and, when No. 16 Squadron disbanded in 2005, he retired to his new home at the RAF Museum, Cosford.
