Since signing a Treaty of Friendship in 1798, Great Britain and Oman have enjoyed a close and fruitful relationship that endures to this day.

This broader relationship is reflected by the close professional co-operation that has developed between the Royal Air Force and the Royal Air Force of Oman. This exhibition, curated by the Royal Air Force Museum with the support of the Archives Division of the Royal Air Force of Oman, reveals the story of this ‘enduring relationship’.

This exhibition details the various roles the Royal Air Force, the Royal Air Force of Oman and British industry have played in creating and developing this partnership, which continues to develop into the 21st Century through close personal ties and a shared history.
