RADAR Magazine

RADAR Magazine is a thrice yearly publication of the RAF Museum, bringing you access behind-the-scenes. You'll hear the stories behind the collection, up-to-date news and information on what's happening at the Museum and interviews with key people in the know.

Our Autumn 2017 Edition

Our Autumn 2017 edition is dedicated to our Volunteers and the various means by which they assist the Museum. We explore the work of our Vehicles Team; how remote volunteers are aiding access to our collections and Clifford Colmer takes a flight in a De Havilland Tiger Moth.

We also highlight six of the best Christmas gifts to purchase from our online shop, and interview the creators of the RAF100 Cookbook. Dr Emma Hanna of the University of Essex looks at the importance of music for morale amongst members of the Royal Flying Corps and the RAF during the First World War; and we report on Names on a Plane, as the Names take off with the Red Arrows as part of their 2017 display season.
