Apparition : Dornier 17 Partner Museums

We have partnered with various aviation museums across the globe so that members of the public might be able to explore the Dornier Do 17 when visiting them. Here are the details of these museums together with the locations at which each Dornier Do 17 may be found via your smartphone.

The Canada Aviation and Space Museum

The Canada Aviation and Space Museum holds an internationally renowned collection of over 130 aircraft chronicles the ancient dream of flight and the significant part played by Canadians in its development; including the only replica of the Silver Dart – that made the first powered flight in Canada in 1909; the A.E.G. G.IV, the only First World War German twin engine aircraft in existence; a Lancaster Bomber; the 1947 prototype of the famous de Havilland Canada Beaver, a CF-18 jet; and the original Canadarm– all under one roof!

The National Norwegian Aviation Museum

Norsk Luftfartsmuseum is the Norwegian national museum of aviation.

The museum is located in Bodø in the North of Norway in a building shaped like a giant propeller, and covers military and civil aviation history. The museum is spread over roughly 10,000 square metres of floor space.

The exhibitions at the museum are the result of a co-operation between Norsk Luftfartsmuseum, the Norwegian Air Force Museum and the AVINOR Museum.

The museum was opened in 1994.
