Our facilities

Visitor Centre

The glass fronted Visitor Centre is fashioned on the shape of a bi-plane.  Here, you will find all the amenities you require for the start of a visit and our team of staff are available at the Admissions Desk if you have any questions.  You can purchase a souvenir guide book for your visit at £3.50.

There are a number of car parks on site with ample spaces. Parking for Blue Badge holders and families is available on Car Park 1 on arrival.  Charges apply for parking - click here for details.

Picnic Areas

Bring your own food and eat outside in the spacious grounds.

Disabled Persons

The site is fully accessible to wheelchair users, and our staff are happy to help any disabled visitor wherever possible. An access statement is also available here.

Baby Changing

Baby changing facilities are available for visitors with younger children in the Visitor Centre and hangars.

We have a range of interactive exhibits including the Fun 'n' Flight Interactive Gallery, designed to excite and inform young minds.  Touch screen kiosks are postioned in the hangars and don't forget to try the aircraft quiz.

Don't forget to visit the museum shop at the exit of the National Cold War Exhibition, where you will find a wide selection of gifts and souvenirs to suit all budgets. You can also shop online from home.

Flight Simulator and 4D Experience

Come and try our Black Hawk flight simulator or the 4D Experience in the Test Flight hangar.
