Kids Corner

Packed with entertainment for younger visitors the Festival Kid's Corner will be offering cookery classes, face painting, pottery painting, circus skills and a play bus.

Kiddy Cook will again be delivering a series of workshops. Classes take place every hour throughout the festival and during each session children will have fun with hands-on gastronomic experiments and everyone gets to make a delicious 'taster' recipe to take away and eat.

Kiddy Cook

We will be celebrating the red poppy and how we can use poppy seeds in our cooking.  We have three different sessions to choose from - decorate poppy shaped biscuits, decorate some yummy chocolate cupcakes, or make some cheesy shortbread biscuits, sprinkled with poppy seeds.

Places at the Kiddy Cook workshops are available both days at the Festival.  They cost £2.50 per person (plus 50p booking fee) and are recommended for children aged between 4-11.  You can book your session when purchasing tickets online. Online bookings for Kiddy Cook close 9.30am Fri 21 July.
