The Sunderland Hall – Meeting Room
This is a brand new and flexible space, situated in the recently refurbished Hangar 1 and overlooking the iconic Sunderland flying boat. The far end is perfect for theatre–style meetings and presentations, while the area you see in the foreground of our first image can be used for networking. Furthermore the far end can be completely sealed off using a sliding wall for privacy.
There is ample space to seat a group of up to 120 people theatre style (60 with social distance measures) in the far end for presentations, while the other half of the space could be used as a breakout area, networking space or for catering.
This area is also ideal for formal dinners and drinks with the drinks reception taking place overlooking our brand new exhibitions ‘RAF Stories: the First 100 Years’ and ‘RAF:First to the Future’. Then guests would move to the other end of the Mezzanine, and enjoy dinner with views of the stunning Sunderland Flying Boat.
