Air Transport Auxiliary records

The Museum holds several hundred personnel files relating to members
of the ATA who served during the Second World War. The files, covering
men and women who served in ground trades as well as aircrew, are only
available to next of kin.

The archive collection also includes a number of ATA aircrew logbooks,
as well as the papers of a number of former members of the ATA including
Pauline Gower, Amy Johnson and Diana Barnato Walker: these documents are
normally available without restriction.
