The King’s Cup Air Race

The King’s Cup is a prestigious long distance air race established in 1922 by King George V.

It is an annual event that takes place on a cross-country course across the British Isles, encouraging civil aviation in Great Britain.

This air race is also intended to improve the development of aeroplane design in Britain through its competitive spirit.

The King’s Cup air race continues to this day.
