Research Enquiries

London's Reading Room

Making the Museum's collections available to its audience and enabling research to take place is fundamental to the Museum's vision and purpose.  The Museum operates a limited remote enquiry service.  If you have an enquiry please email askcollections@rafmuseum.org  Please note that we aim to answer enquiries within 20 workings days of receipt.

You  are also welcome to make an appointment to carry out your own research in the Museum's reading room at our London site.  Details of opening times can be found here.

The enquiry service has undergone a recent review. The Museum is keen to continue sharing its collections and the expertise of its curatorial staff while ensuring that the service is cost-effective in line with its new Strategic Plan to 2030.
